WASHINGTON<\/strong> \u2013 The nonprofit, nonpartisan Partnership for Public Service<\/a> today released the following statement from the Partnership’s Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Modernizing Government Jennifer Ives in response to President Donald Trump\u2019s latest executive order on artificial intelligence: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis order underscores the growing recognition that AI plays a critical role in shaping the future of our government and society. As we navigate this transformative era, we must empower federal leaders to be smart users and regulators of AI and ensure that our government can set an example in adopting AI effectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Partnership for Public Service is dedicated to helping political and career leaders use AI to improve government operations and better serve the public. AI offers unprecedented opportunities, from modernizing how our government delivers critical services to basing decisions on reliable data, which can lead to increased public trust in our government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
