Since its founding in 2001, the Partnership for Public Service has worked to create a more dynamic and innovative government that effectively serves the public\u2014a goal we view as central to building a stronger democracy.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been an incredible journey filled with remarkable accomplishments\u2014and this past year was no exception. <\/strong>Here are our biggest accomplishments from 2023 in three core areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Society\u2019s commitment to government <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Addressing low trust in government <\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We published “The State of Public Trust in Government 2023<\/a>” and our \u201cTrust in Government Dashboard<\/a>\u201d to explore the factors that contribute to low trust in government.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our research shows that most Americans have favorable views of nonelected federal employees, well-known agencies and many government services, even as this low trust persists, highlighting the need to share more success stories about government and public servants.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also hosted our first ever Trust Summit<\/a>, convening leaders from across sectors to discuss public perceptions of government and how federal agencies can reconnect with the communities they serve. <\/p>\n\n\n

Stories about the positive impact of government and career civil servants<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We released a new video series, “Our Government Explained (in 3 Minutes or Less)<\/a>,” to help the public better understand our largest democratic institution and the people who work there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also launched a new newsletter, “Five Stories of Public Service<\/a>,” to highlight the ways civil servants keep us safe, healthy and prosperous. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
