The \u201cSammies\u201d is the premier award program that honors exceptional federal employees whose work and contributions have made our country better, safer and stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-numerous-celebrities-and-notable-federal-workers-honored-the-2022-service-to-america-medal-winners\"><strong>Numerous celebrities and notable federal workers honored the 2022 Service to America Medal winners<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hosted by actress and comedian Ashley Nicole Black, the Sammies winners received special remarks and presentations from numerous celebrities including Rachel Bloom, Ronny Chieng, Giancarlo Esposito, Ginnifer Goodwin, Tony Hale, Anthony Hill, Nico Santos, Toni Trucks and Connie Britton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c[These award winners are the] best and the brightest in every field working to improve the lives of people they will probably never even meet. That\u2019s not just selfless, it\u2019s beautiful,\u201d said Ashley Nicole Black. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The special also featured remarks by CNN News Anchor Anderson Cooper and Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States Dr. Anthony Fauci, a former Sammies winner.
