{"id":29366,"date":"2021-09-22T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ourpublicservice.org\/about\/impact\/"},"modified":"2025-12-05T13:46:16","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T18:46:16","slug":"impact","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ourpublicservice.org\/about\/impact\/","title":{"rendered":"Impact"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:24px\">For more than 20 years, the Partnership has developed nonpartisan solutions that help our government better serve the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our current strategy seeks to impact government in three core areas: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Federal talent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public service leadership.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Society&#8217;s commitment to government.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To help our government recruit, engage and retain the nation\u2019s best talent, we administer a range of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ourpublicservice.org\/our-solutions\/workforce\/fellowship-programs\/\">fellowship and internship programs<\/a>&nbsp;for aspiring public servants and produce the annual&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bestplacestowork.org\/\">Best Places to Work in the Federal Government<\/a>\u00ae rankings, which since 2003 has been the most authoritative rating of employee engagement and satisfaction in the federal government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ourpublicservice.org\/public-service-leadership-institute\/\">Public Service Leadership Institute<\/a>&nbsp;offers&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ourpublicservice.org\/public-service-leadership-institute\/\">leadership development<\/a>&nbsp;programs and customized training opportunities for federal leaders, offices and teams, while our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/presidentialtransition.org\/\">Center for Presidential Transition\u00ae<\/a> is the premier nonpartisan source of information and expertise for presidential candidates and their teams as they work to launch a first or second term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, we work to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ourpublicservice.org\/our-solutions\/rebuilding-trust-in-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">improve public perceptions<\/a> government by helping it better connect with and serve its customers, and by promoting stories of exceptional public service.
